The Tonight Show With Chrissy Hall

My final year project with a team of five other students. A West Midlands based football quiz show. My tasks included hiring graphics designer and composer, putting my organisation and safety focused mentality to use by writing the risk assessments and call sheets, and fulfilling the role of technical manager and director for VT shoots. Studio role was floor manager, ensuring crew satisfaction and guests were well looked after. The show went live on Youtube and was a resounding success.

A contribution to the award winning Scratch Media group based at Birmingham City University. This is a tour of the new pub based in BCU's new Curzon building, and details what events will happen there. working closelly with the presenters, my task was sound capture with Maranz and boom, ensure quality and variety in sound, and outline the best sound segments for the editor.

The last segment of Scratch Media' 12-hour live stream, which is a live performance and interview show. My tasks in pre-production were to research into the performing musicans, and provide a loose script and questions for the presenter to use in the interviews. During production, I was the camera operator used for the interview segments.

Venture Artists Management - Interview
Researcher & Presenter

A post performance interview with Cannock based band The Shanklins for Venture Artists Management. My task for this, set by the director, was to prepare a series of questions with the aim to let the band introduce themselves, and , as they were a new band just getting into gigging. Through the my research skills, I tailored the questions to what would deliver a funny and casual feel to the show, and to keep the conversation free flowing, light-hearted and informative for the audience.

Bear Grylls Catch Me If You Can
Videographer & Sound Operator

The trailer for Bear Grylls: Catch Me If You Can, a chase and evade game show intended for Channel 4. In order to film this, we conducted many hours of audience and shoot location research, and on just as many into location filming in woods, plains, and rocky terrain. I worked as a camera operator with an attached shotgun mic to follow the contestant. The footage of Bear is archive.
